Solidarity Project Advocacy Network (SPAN) believes that a more equitable quality of life can only be sustained in a more inclusive society.  Our mission is to develop a more a more fair and just Louisiana by facilitating relationship building, learning and coalition development among progressive activists who fight for community rights.
Our Core Values are:

– Socio-political Inclusion of all Citizens – we reject manipulation based on the classic divide and conquer strategies that have pitted citizens against each other by class, race, gender, age, disability and countless other labels #Solidarity

– Civic Empowerment – we believe we will never achieve inclusiveness without recognizing and building the power within each of us as individuals and as a collective.

– Progressive Government:

• Inclusion of citizens directly into the political process
• and government ability to act on behalf of the citizens it serves by enabling fairness in economic and social matters when other methods of empowerment (or lack thereof) have proven ineffective or corrupt.
